What are they actually buying and loving?
We want to know what the coolest people on the internet are buying when no one is watching because things are murkier in the social media limelight.Were they gifted these products? Are they brand ambassadors? But if someone is actually shelling out their hard-earned dollars to purchase something that pinches their pocketbook, they have skin in the game. They’re not incentivized; they’re INVESTED. Now, we’re interested in what they have to say about those products.

Receipts can help us engineer the serendipitous feeling of finding something new from someone with no stake in “selling” you the product. Take, for instance, Chloe’s recent chance encounter at a grocery store that perfectly illustrates this. She was browsing the snack aisle for her long-haul flight and while perusing, she spotted a quasi-athletic, cool-looking dude clad in a head-to-toe fire-engine red ensemble.
