We’ve gotten a bunch of requests for gift guides, and your wish has been granted. On the menu this week: All about food. If you know us, you know we’re snack savants, wannabe chefs, and picky patrons (#80 on Beli lol). Over the next few weeks, we’ll be dishing out a smorgasbord of non-vanilla gift guides (different flavors each week!) that'll spice up your gift-giving game. Hopefully, you trust our taste by now. Here we go.
Areaware Serving Friend Spoons, $40 (other similar options from Alessi ($48) and Jayson Home ($18)): To spruce up the tablescape.
Fiona’s Small Pasta Gift Box, $95 (similar options here ($22)): A kaleidoscope of pasta rolled into art that we’re eager to frame on our plate. Enjoy broad strokes of bold flavor in every artisanal layer.
Mad Rose, prices vary: Get creative and gift a small bundle with cooking necessities from Mad Rose (this capitelli pasta ($12) is some of our favorite pasta ever and these peperoncino red pepper flakes ($11.75) are out of this world). Or you can opt for a gift bundle like this pasta + olive oil set ($74).
Island Creek Oysters Variety Box, $68 (on sale from $86): For the tinned fish lover in your life — this is the magnum opus.
From Roy Panettone, $95: The price is steep, but if you’re looking to go all out on panettone this year, this one takes the cake. Our dad surprised us with the pistachio amarena cherry variation (chef’s kiss) last year. Safe to say that Roy Shvartzapel is a panettone legend.
Ayako Family Jams, $16-$60: These Washington-based jam-makers specialize in Japanese plum varieties. Cutest jars and incredible jam. Try the signature trio set for $60, or go for an individual jar for $16-20 (we love the shiro and hisa).
Bokksu’s Gift Basket, $48: Our friend Danny founded this incredible Japanese snack box company, where he sources authentic Japanese snacks directly from Japan and delivers them right to your doorstep. There are soo many good options for various box configurations depending on what you like.
La Maison du Chocolat Snowflake Advent Calendar, $95: Doubles as an ornament ;) A chocolate constellation to countdown in decadence.
Tom’s Perfect 10 Holiday Tin, $75: You guys know how much we love Tom’s granola. Total (cereal) killer. His holiday tin includes tiramisu, mint chip, golden apple cider, and mangonada.
Alessi Plissé Electric Kettle, $99: Steeped in sophistication. Turning up the heat while keeping it cool.
