ReceiptGate #030: What do Parisians actually wear to work out?
Ungatekeeping with Renata Kats and Moa Karlsvärd
Welcome to ReceiptGate! In case you’re new here, on Mondays, we dare it-girls (who also happen to be Selleb app superusers) to ungatekeep their tried-and-true favorites and deinfluence us on crowd-pleasers that shouldn’t be. Behind the paywall, you’ll find even more of the good stuff: their best-kept restaurants, favorite white tees, shopping hacks, worthy splurges, items they cheap out on, tactical/practical purchases under $50, best subscriptions, etc.
Still can’t get enough? Follow Renata and Moa on the Selleb app to see more of their purchases!

Can you ungatekeep a secret…
Signature fragrance?
Renata: I’ve worn the same fragrance for over 15 years and don’t reveal it — it’s the only thing I truly gatekeep. It’s part of my identity. But I can say that it blends coffee, vanilla, and rose: warm, addictive, slightly nostalgic.
What’s your AM skincare routine?
Renata: Caudalie Vinoclean toner, Hyeja Vegan Lotus PHA mist, SANA soy milk eye cream, and Shiseido Essential Energy day cream with SPF. Hydration and protection, no aggressive routines, just consistency.
Moa: I do dry brushing followed by the Matte Body Oil from The Monastery post-shower. For face, I use micellar water from Verso, a toner, a hydrating serum from Hyggee, Azelaic Acid Booster from Paula’s Choice, and The Active Moist day cream by Dermalogica.
Favorite workout clothing brand?
Renata: I’m not brand-loyal with activewear. Fit and movement matter more than labels. I prefer minimal, almost logo-free pieces that feel like an extension of me.
Moa: I think there’s a shift happening away from overly styled workout looks and there’s something chic about stepping away from the idea of a gym “look.” Leggings and a vintage graphic tee feel more current and effortless to me.
What’s the most impulsive purchase you’ve made recently? Who inspired you?
Renata: The Kiko Kostadinov Cowen beaded earrings. I didn’t notice them at first, but after seeing the runway and beauty close-ups, it clicked. Even with simple outfits, they make everything feel like a celebration of life.
Moa: I RAN to the Saint Laurent Babylone store in Paris to buy my friend Ava’s photography zine she did for them — nothing makes me happier and more inspired than seeing my friends succeed!
Best purchase under $50?
Renata: Miniature, slightly absurd creature objects I found in Tokyo. I scatter them around my apartment and they function like small mood disruptors.
Moa: A tongue scraper from Officine Universelle Buly. Every girl who cares about her hygiene needs one.
