What Charlotte Chesnais actually bought in Paris
The award-winning jewelry visionary shares her purchases
Charlotte Chesnais’s eponymous brand is the kind whispered about in Parisian ateliers and DM’d between stylists with taste levels that pierce the stratosphere. Owning her pieces is a bit like collecting art. Her most famous pieces — like the Round Trip bracelet, Mirage cuff, and the iconic Heart ring — are admired, procured, and preserved for posterity amongst the consumers and the collectors alike.
Charlotte’s truly an artist, an architect, a shape-shifting metalsmith. She bends metals as some do reality, seeing the world in curves and swirls, sketching new alphabets in vermeil and 18-karat gold. Her creations loop, twist, and orbit, echoing the surreal silhouettes of Dalí, Gaudí, Brancusi, and Arp.
Her Moment: After nearly a decade sharpening her sensibilities at Balenciaga under Nicolas Ghesquière, she zoomed to stardom in 2015 when the ANDAM jury, essentially France’s crystal ball for next-gen fashion geniuses, handed her the inaugural Accessories Prize, putting her on the same honor roll as Margiela, Glenn Martens, and Christophe Lemaire. Since then, she’s opened her stunning, Holtrop-designed boutique off Place Vendôme that feels less shop, more museum.
Our Discovery Moment: Chloe first discovered her work on IG 5 years ago and became obsessed with her sculptural designs. Last year, while working at a chic Chicago boutique, Chloe scored her first CC piece (thanks to an employee discount): the iconic heart ring that hasn’t left her daily stack since. This past summer, Chloe linked up with Rhita from CC’s team in Paris and got a BTS look at their dreamy headquarters. Fun fact: At the soirée with Anna Delvey in January 2025, the Selleb Sisters wore the Round Trip bracelet, along with a few other sculptural stunners on generous loan from CC.
More recently, Claire popped into WSA x Pacific Heights where she met Charlotte herself! Let’s just say, her fit was fitting, and she was wearing none other than THE Alphabuilder necklace (on our wishlist)!
