What I Actually Bought #033
Saltburn heartburn, HigherDOSE CEO's favorite boxers, and eBay Mob Wives
As a testament to “It takes a village,” even your Selleb Sisters, the self-professed expert sourcers/hunters for tracking down items seen in movies, TV shows, IRL, TikToks, subways, etc had to enlist the help of their TikTok community to locate the ever-elusive necklace seen in Saltburn.
For weeks, Claire poured her heart and soul into ID’ing Venetia’s crystal heart necklace, turning every pebble yet finding no jewels.
She finally put out a cry for help on TikTok and lo and behold, one of our followers came back to us with an answer within days. She actually DM’ed the costume designer (something we hadn’t thought of!) and got the name of the necklace brand!! A major breakthrough, but unfortunately, the necklace was sold out everywhere. See below for how Claire snagged the last one (albeit in a different color, but even better!). Perfect arrival too — just in time for V Day…

What I Actually Bought
Butler & Wilson Crystal Hearts Necklace from Saltburn (similar options here here and here): THE necklace in question. Heartbreaker.
Hero Croissants, 6 Pack (bread available on Amazon): If you know us, you know we are OBSESSED with croissants (have every single croissant in NYC spreadsheeted) — flakey, layered, and plain ones to be more precise (comment below or reply to this email if you want to see our list of favorites and we’ll do a special edition). Hero caught our eye because their croissants are handmade in Sonoma with 24 intricate layers. Plus, 2g Net Carbs, 0g Sugar, 20g Fiber, 10g Protein… curious to see if they ACTUALLY taste good. With a 15,000 person waitlist, it has to be decent… right?? We’ll report back.
Orange UGG Classic Mini (other options here here and here): This is exuberance on steroids. Fell head-over-heels in love with these yam-hued, life-affirming boots. Sweet potatoes ftw. You are what you eat.
Tom’s Perfect 10 Red Velvet Granola: Excited to top off our oats with this indulgent concoction that is aptly flavored for this month <3
Yoseka Stationery Haul: Yoseka has the most adorable Japanese stationery store in Greenpoint — definitely worth a visit. Stocked up on one-off notebooks and pens. This Guide to Advanced Electrical Engineering (lol) is actually a blank notebook from this really cool brand (they make notebooks from old book covers and other recycled materials!). GREAT gift btw. The pens here are 11/10 (Chloe tested every pen in the store).
